Magnific is the new name for Freepik's AI creative platform. It includes AI image, video and audio generation with many third-party models, the Magnific image and video upscalers, editing tools, a shared canvas called Spaces, and a stock library of 250M+ assets. In the US, plans started at $20 a month on 27 September 2026, and prices vary by country.
Magnific began as an AI image upscaler at magnific.ai. Freepik has since renamed its whole platform Magnific: magnific.com says 'Freepik is now Magnific', and magnific.ai now redirects there (checked 3 October 2026).
According to Magnific's FAQ, existing magnific.ai subscriptions continue without disruption until they expire. The upscaler is now one tool inside a larger platform with image, video and audio models and a stock library.

It is Freepik's platform under a new name, with credit-based plans that include image, video and audio models, the Magnific upscalers, Spaces and 250M+ stock assets. Credits on annual plans are valid for a year, and Magnific says it does not train on your data.
Magnific puts many leading image and video models, its own upscalers and a large stock library behind one credit system, with a commercial AI license on every plan.
Pricing is localized and promotions change often, so the price you see may differ. Credits are spent at different rates per model, which makes costs harder to predict.
