What it really is

Vevox — live polling, Q&A, and audience engagement platform for classrooms and corporate meetings.

Our take

Vevox is a purpose-built interactive presentation tool, not a project-management app — the DB category is a mislabel. Pricing is also understated: Vevox offers a genuine free plan (up to 100 participants), with Education Starter at $7.75/mo and Business Starter at $11.95/mo — not the $5/user flat rate the catalogue lists. It covers polling, quizzes, surveys, and moderated Q&A, integrating natively with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.

Why we rate it

Vevox punches well above its price point: the free tier is genuinely usable for small sessions, the PowerPoint and Teams integrations remove friction entirely, and AI-assisted question creation accelerates session prep. Edu pricing is among the most accessible in the category.

The catch

Advanced features (Q&A moderation, branding, all poll types) are gated to Pro; the free and Starter tiers feel limited for serious event use. Per-user add-on costs on Pro can add up for larger teams.

Best for
University and K-12 educators running interactive lectures
Corporate trainers and internal meeting facilitators using Teams or PowerPoint
Event organizers needing moderated Q&A for conferences up to 1,500 attendees
Not good for
Large enterprise events exceeding 1,500 participants without an Enterprise contract
Teams needing deep project-management or workflow automation
Organizations requiring fully white-labeled, self-hosted polling infrastructure
Friction report
Time to value
Fast: free sign-up leads to a live poll in under five minutes; PowerPoint and Teams add-ins install in one click.
Scale breakpoint
Participant limits (capped at 1,500 on Pro) and per-user pricing force Enterprise conversations for larger teams or big events.
Walled garden
Moderate: data exports available on Starter+, but poll templates and session history are locked to the platform; no open API on lower tiers.
