Lucidspark is Lucid Software's online whiteboard for brainstorms, retrospectives and planning, built to sit alongside Lucidchart. The free plan covers three editable boards; Individual costs $9 a month and Team $10 per user a month, both billed annually.

The bottom line

A solid pick for Lucidchart teams; others should compare it with Miro first.

What it really is

Lucid's collaborative whiteboard for workshops, sitting next to Lucidchart in one account.

Our take

Lucidspark covers what most teams need from a whiteboard: sticky notes, templates, voting, timers and AI that sorts a messy board into themes. It makes the most sense if your company already uses Lucidchart, since the two share an account and Lucidspark Enterprise includes Lucidchart. The free plan is fine for trying it, but three boards run out fast, and the headline prices assume annual billing.

Why we rate it

Workshop-ready facilitation tools plus 100+ integrations and native Lucidchart pairing.

The catch

Three-board free cap, annual-billing headline prices, and breakout boards and Jira integrations held back for Enterprise.

Best for
Teams already on Lucidchart
Agile retros and sprint planning
Facilitated remote workshops
Not good for
Heavy free use beyond three boards
Teams that need breakout boards without Enterprise
Detailed technical diagramming (use Lucidchart)
Friction report
Time to value
Low: sign up free and start from a template in minutes.
Scale breakpoint
A fourth editable board forces a paid plan; breakout boards and SAML need Enterprise.
Walled garden
Low to moderate: many integrations and a developer platform on Team.
