Odoo

Try OdooOne app free; paid per user, price list may vary by country

Odoo comes in two editions, a free open-source Community edition and a paid Enterprise edition, and covers CRM, accounting, inventory, e-commerce, point of sale and project management; it is made by Odoo SA in Belgium. Odoo's pricing page lists One App Free (one app, unlimited users) and two per-user plans for all apps, Standard and Custom, while Odoo.sh hosting, implementation packs, in-app credits and custom-code upkeep are sold separately. The per-user prices here are Odoo's US price list, read from a US location on 3 and 4 November 2026; the page applies a price list by country, and an Israel-detected read on 1 November 2026 showed lower figures, which the plan table keeps as a labelled column. Odoo.sh hosting and Success Pack amounts depend on the visitor's country and are not listed here.

The bottom line

A broad, modular suite worth pricing in full: get the per-user figure for your country, then add hosting, setup and any custom-code upkeep before comparing it with other ERP tools.

What it really isA modular suite of business apps sold as a free open-source Community edition and a paid Enterprise edition, with a free plan for one app and per-user plans for all apps.
Our takeOdoo puts CRM, sales, accounting, inventory, manufacturing and HR apps in one suite and prices Enterprise per user, with a free one-app plan and a free open-source edition beside it.
The per-user figure is only part of the bill: Odoo.sh hosting, implementation packs, in-app credits and custom-code upkeep are separate, and the agreement renews automatically. Odoo's page applies a country price list, so the per-user figures on this page are from a US-located read and your own country may see different ones.
Why we rate itOdoo prints its plan grid, its Odoo.sh rates, its Success Pack prices and its contract terms, but the figures follow a country price list and several costs sit outside the per-user price.
The catchPrices follow the visitor's country; Odoo.sh, setup, credits and custom-code upkeep are extra; and the agreement renews automatically, with increases of up to 7% a year when charges sit below list price.

Best / not good for

Best for
  • Companies that want sales, accounting, inventory and HR in one suite
  • Teams that can start with one free app and add apps later
  • Businesses with developers who can use Community or Odoo.sh
Not good for
  • Buyers who want a single flat price with no setup project
  • Companies that need full accounting but do not want to pay for Enterprise
  • Teams that cannot accept a contract that renews automatically
Trade-offs

Friction report

Trade-offs to know before signing up.

  1. Time to value
Odoo's trial page promises free instant access with no credit card, but Odoo says small companies usually buy Success Packs of 4 to 200 hours and larger ones work with a partner.
  2. Scale breakpoint
Odoo's pricing FAQ says installing Studio or adding companies moves a database to the Custom plan, although another answer on the same page says the free plan allows multiple companies and Studio; users or Light Users added mid-term are charged at the list price for the rest of the term.
  3. Walled garden
Community has no hosting, support, upgrades or mobile app, and Odoo says Enterprise is the same software on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own servers; Odoo Online customers can download a database backup at any time.

US list: odoo.com/pricing read from a US location on 3 and 4 November 2026, in US dollars (the configurator link resolved to US price list 231). Each Standard and Custom card prints two figures per user a month, one for each billing period; each carries a footnote that the discount is valid for 12 months for the initial users ordered, and the discounted amounts are not listed. Light User is printed with one figure. Israel-detected view: odoo.com/pricing and odoo.com/pricing-configurator read on 1 November 2026, also in US dollars; the page recorded the visitor's country as Israel and applied a price list for it, so Odoo's price depends on the country. In that view the first figure is the price before the 'First Year Initial Discount on regular users' line in Odoo's configurator and the bracketed figure is that line applied, which Odoo says is valid for 12 months for the initial users ordered. The Light User card printed one figure and no billing period there. Check odoo.com/pricing for your country.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Odoo cost?

Three plans make up Odoo's pricing: One App Free at US$0, plus Standard and Custom, which are per user and include all apps. On Odoo's US price list, read from a US location on 3 and 4 November 2026, Standard is US$31.10 or US$38.90 per user a month depending on the billing period, Custom is US$61.00 or US$76.20, and Light User seats are US$8.90. Each Standard and Custom card carries a footnote that a discount is valid for 12 months for the initial users ordered; the discounted first-year amounts are not listed here. Odoo records the visitor's country and applies a price list for it: a read from Israel on 1 November 2026 showed Standard at US$16.90 per user a month billed yearly (US$21.10 billed monthly), Custom at US$32.00 (US$40.00) and Light User at US$5.90, with a 12-month initial discount that brought the yearly figures to US$13.50 and US$25.50. Confirm your own figures on odoo.com/pricing (checked 4 November 2026).

Is Odoo free?

Two parts of Odoo are free. Odoo's pricing page lists One App Free: US$0 for one app with unlimited users on Odoo Online, and any apps that app depends on are free too. Odoo Community is the open-source edition, published under the GNU LGPL version 3 on GitHub; Odoo's Compare Editions page marks it as having no hosting, no unlimited functional support, no version upgrades, no Android or iOS app and no full Accounting app, all of which Enterprise lists. Anything beyond one app on Odoo Online is per user, and Odoo's trial page promises free instant access with no credit card. One caution: Odoo's pricing FAQ says the free plan allows multiple companies and Studio as its app, while another answer on the same page says installing Studio or adding companies moves a database to the Custom plan, so confirm with Odoo before relying on either (checked 1 November 2026).

What costs sit outside Odoo's per-user price?

Odoo's pricing page says the plans do not include Odoo.sh hosting for custom developments, implementation service and expert help, in-app purchase credits (SMS, contacts auto-complete, lead generation, AI to scan vendor bills and expenses) or maintenance of custom code. Odoo prices Odoo.sh workers, storage and staging environments, and Success Packs of 4 to 200 hours, in its pricing configurator; those amounts depend on the visitor's country, so none are listed here. The Subscription Agreement adds a monthly fee per 100 lines of custom code, an extra 25% of the annualized price once a year if a database sits on a version older than the three most recent, and, when charges sit below the current list price, renewal increases of up to 7% a year (checked 1 November 2026).

What is the difference between Odoo Community and Enterprise?

Odoo says Community is the core that Enterprise is built on and that you can switch versions at any time. On Odoo's Compare Editions page both editions list CRM, Sales, Point of Sale, the website builder, eCommerce, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase, Project and Invoicing. Only Enterprise lists hosting, unlimited functional support, version upgrades, the Android and iOS apps, full Accounting, Payroll, Documents, Sign, Helpdesk, Planning, Knowledge, Barcode and Studio. Community is published under the GNU LGPL version 3, while Enterprise software is licensed under the Odoo Enterprise Edition License, which Odoo's Enterprise Subscription Agreement grants for the length of the term (checked 1 November 2026).

Is Odoo an Indian company?

No. Odoo's About page lists its headquarters in Grand Rosière, Belgium, and the Odoo Enterprise Subscription Agreement is with Odoo SA under Belgian law, with disputes heard by the Nivelles Business Court. Odoo does have an office in Gujarat, India for R&D, services and sales, among 17 offices that include San Francisco and Buffalo in the United States (checked 1 November 2026).

How do I sign in to Odoo?
