PayForIt (payforit.net) is a secure web-based payment portal that lets parents pay school lunch balances, activity fees, fundraisers, and registrations online — with iOS and Android apps. The DB summary erroneously describes a social media scheduling tool; PayForIt is entirely unrelated to that category. The DB-listed '$5/transaction' pricing is also inaccurate: the platform charges a percentage-based convenience fee (approx. 3.5%+$1.50 per card transaction as of Feb 2025) borne by parents, while districts access the system via school contracts. As of the 2024–2025 school year, PayForIt is actively migrating to its successor, PaySchools Central.
