Houzz Pro

Houzz Pro is business software for builders, remodelers and designers: a free plan, Pro at $199 a month and Teams from $399 a month, per Houzz's pricing page.

Our take: Houzz publishes its plan prices: Pro is $199 a month for 1 user and extra users are $50, so five people on Pro cost $399 a month, the same as the Teams starting price.

Houzz Pro is business software from Houzz Inc. for home builders, remodelers and interior designers, covering 3D floor plans, estimates, invoices, project management and a client dashboard. Houzz's pricing page, read on 2 November 2026, shows a free plan, Pro at $199 a month for 1 user, Teams from $399 a month for 5 users and a quote-based Enterprise plan, with extra users at $50 a month. What it really isBusiness software for home-industry professionals from the company behind the Houzz marketplace, with a free entry plan and per-user charges for extra seats.
Our takeHouzz publishes its plan prices: Pro is $199 a month for 1 user and extra users are $50, so five people on Pro cost $399 a month, the same as the Teams starting price.
The part to check is the lineup, because Houzz's pricing page shows no Design plan while its own pricing article lists Design at $99. The trial turns into an annual subscription unless you cancel, and the terms make payments non-refundable.
Why we rate itPrices are published, but Houzz's pricing page and its own pricing article differ on plan names and user limits.
The catchThe 30-day trial turns into an annual subscription, plans renew for 12-month terms and amounts paid are non-refundable under the Houzz Pro terms.

Best / not good for

Best for
  • Interior designers and remodelers who want estimates, invoices and client portals in one tool
  • Small firms that want to try a free plan before paying
  • Contractors who need takeoffs and bid management
Not good for
  • Buyers who want a plain month-to-month plan, since the trial and terms point to annual terms
  • Businesses that need Enterprise or advertising prices without talking to sales
  • Larger crews that would pay $50 a month for each extra user on Pro
Trade-offs

Friction report

Trade-offs to know before signing up.

  1. Time to value
A free plan and a 30-day trial let you try it first; Houzz gives no setup time, only that the software is designed to be intuitive, and it offers demos, a Help Center and video tutorials.
  2. Scale breakpoint
At five users, Pro with four extra users equals Teams' $399 starting price; above that, the pricing page charges $50 per extra Teams user while Houzz's article says Teams has unlimited users.
  3. Walled garden
A separate Pro Services Agreement sets the cost, term and cancellation date of the plan you buy, plans renew for 12-month terms and amounts paid are non-refundable.

From Houzz's pricing page (houzz.com/houzz-pro/pricing), read on 2 and 4 November 2026 on Houzz's US site (houzz.com, locale en-US; the page's structured data lists the prices in USD per month). Prices carry a $ sign and are monthly figures; the page does not name the billing period, while its trial FAQ and the Houzz Pro terms point to annual terms. A fair use limit of 415 3D model conversions a month applies to unlimited conversions. Houzz's own pricing article of 5 October 2026 differs on the plan lineup; see the next table.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Houzz Pro cost?

Houzz's pricing page lists Pro at $199 a month for 1 user, Teams starting at $399 a month for 5 users and Enterprise as a contact-sales plan with unlimited users, plus a free plan. Extra users cost $50 a month each on Pro and Teams, and advertising packages are sold separately from $499 a month. The page shows monthly figures without naming the billing period, while its trial FAQ and the Houzz Pro terms point to annual terms, so confirm the billing period before you sign up. Houzz's own pricing article (published 5 October 2026, updated 15 October 2026 per its page data) also lists a Design plan at $99 a month, which the pricing page did not show when read (checked 2 November 2026).

Is Houzz Pro free?

Partly. Houzz offers a free plan with a 3D floor planner, estimates and invoicing, and its pricing page says no credit card is required to try it. Houzz also says you can use Houzz Pro free for 30 days, and its pricing article says the Design and Pro plans include that trial; the Pro card shows a Start Free Trial button, while Teams and Enterprise show Get a Demo and Contact Sales. The free plan's limits beyond those three tools are not listed on the pricing page (checked 2 November 2026).

What happens when the Houzz Pro free trial ends?

The annual subscription begins at the end of the 30-day trial unless you cancel during it, according to Houzz's pricing FAQ. The Houzz Pro terms (effective 6 October 2026) say the initial term is likely 12, 24 or 36 months from the date you start paying, that the plan then renews automatically for successive 12-month terms unless you give notice before the current term ends, and that amounts paid are non-refundable, including for a partial month. They add that the cost, duration and cancellation date of your own plan are in the Pro Services Agreement emailed when you buy, so check that document for your own terms (checked 2 November 2026).

Is there still a Houzz Pro Design plan at $99?

It depends on which Houzz page you read. Houzz's pricing page, read on 2 November 2026, shows a free plan, Pro, Teams and Enterprise and no Design plan. Houzz's Houzz Pro News article 'Houzz Pro Pricing 2026', published 5 October and updated 15 October 2026 per its page data, describes three paid plans, Design at $99 a month, Pro at $199 and Teams from $399, and says older information on review sites may describe plans or user limits that no longer apply. The pages also differ on Teams: the pricing page says 5 users, the article says unlimited users. Ask Houzz which applies to your account before choosing (checked 2 November 2026).

What is the difference between Houzz and Houzz Pro?
