What it really is
An enterprise low-code and workflow automation platform for building process apps, forms and portals, sold through sales.
Our take
Kissflow has spent two decades on workflow software and now pitches itself as an AI-powered platform for enterprise apps. The breadth is real: workflows, apps, portals, boards and enterprise connectors in one place. The friction is commercial. With no published prices and fixed annual agreements, you cannot start on a small plan and grow. It makes most sense for organizations with a backlog of process apps and a budget for a platform deal.
Why we rate it
Broad workflow and app-building coverage with enterprise connectors and IT governance.
The catch
Opaque, sales-led pricing and annual commitments.
Best for
Large organizations with many approval workflows
IT-led citizen development programs
Vendor and customer portals
Not good for
Small teams wanting monthly card payments
Buyers who need list prices to compare
One-off simple automations
Friction report
Time to value
Days to weeks: a sales consultation and quote come before setup.
Scale breakpoint
Costs are fixed in the annual agreement, so growing beyond the scoped usage means renegotiating.
Walled garden
Medium: apps run on Kissflow's platform, though connectors link them to SAP, Salesforce and other systems.
