Botkeeper Infinite is AI bookkeeping software that accounting firms run on clients' QuickBooks Online or Xero books. Botkeeper the company announced its closure in February 2026, and Xendoo then bought the Infinite platform, which is still sold. Pricing runs from $149 down to $59 per client entity a month on monthly billing, with no free trial shown.

Botkeeper closed; Xendoo now owns Botkeeper Infinite

Botkeeper CEO Enrico Palmerino announced the closure of the company in a statement posted on 7 February 2026, citing industry consolidation in late 2025 that hit its largest clients and revenue.

Later in February 2026, Xendoo announced it had acquired Infinite, the core technology Botkeeper built for accounting practices. Xendoo says current access to Infinite remains active and supported, and botkeeper.com still sells the platform.

6 - knowledge base, ticket portal, phone line and Botkeeper University; long-term support depends on Xendoo.
What it really is

An AI bookkeeping layer that accounting firms run on clients' QuickBooks Online or Xero books, now owned by Xendoo.

Our take

The software side is mature: coding with confidence scores, bank recs, close tracking and firm-wide views, at a per-client price that drops quickly with volume. The risk is the business behind it. Start on monthly billing, ask Xendoo about roadmap and support terms, and keep an exit plan for your client files.

Why we rate it

It covers the repetitive firm workflow end to end and publishes its prices, which many firm tools do not.

The catch

The original company closed in February 2026; the platform's future depends on Xendoo.

Best for
Accounting firms with many small-business clients
Practices standardized on QuickBooks Online or Xero
Firms building client advisory services
Not good for
QuickBooks Desktop users
Single businesses doing their own books
Friction report
Time to value
Self-serve sign-up; connecting each client's ledger and bank feeds and training rules takes days to weeks per client.
Scale breakpoint
Per-license cost falls at 5, 10 and 25 clients, so small firms pay the most per client.
Walled garden
Low to medium: the books stay in QuickBooks Online or Xero; workflow history lives in Botkeeper.
