Gigasheet is a browser spreadsheet for CSV and tabular files too big for Excel, handling up to 25 million rows per sheet on Premium. The company now leads with healthcare price-transparency data, which is sold on quote. Premium starts at $95 a month billed monthly, and a free account is available with small storage.

The bottom line

Good for giant flat files; check the free limits and the JSON gap first.

What it really is

A browser spreadsheet for very large CSV files, from a company now focused on healthcare price data.

Our take

If a CSV export crashes Excel and you only need to filter, group and export, Gigasheet gets you there without SQL. Pay monthly for a one-off job, since $95 is easier to swallow than a year. If your work is ongoing, compare it with a proper database first, and note that JSON is outside the self-serve plan.

Why we rate it

Handles up to 25 million rows per sheet with merge, filter and export tools, and prices for the self-serve plan are public.

The catch

The company's focus has moved to healthcare data, free-tier limits are undocumented on the pricing page, and Premium Individual rejects JSON.

Best for
One-off analysis of huge CSV exports
Merging many files at once
Healthcare negotiated-rate research (quote-based)
Not good for
JSON-heavy workflows on the self-serve plan
Teams that need a relational database
Friction report
Time to value
Sign up, upload a file and filter in the browser; no setup.
Scale breakpoint
Storage tiers jump from 25 GB to 50 GB and 75 GB; beyond that is Enterprise.
Walled garden
Low: unrestricted exports on Premium.
