GQueues is a task manager for people and teams who work in Google Workspace: you sign in with Google, and tasks sync two ways with Google Calendar and Gmail. The Lite plan is free for one user; YOU costs $3/mo and BUSINESS $4/user/mo, both billed annually.

GQueues is owned by Baydin

GQueues was founded in 2009 by Cameron Henneke. In 2024 it was acquired by Baydin, the company behind Boomerang for Gmail. The product keeps the GQueues name and is still run by its original team.

What it really is

A task manager that sits on top of your Google account and syncs tasks with Google Calendar.

Our take

GQueues does one job well: it gives Google Workspace users a proper task list that talks to Calendar and Gmail, with team sharing for a few dollars a month. It is not a project management suite; there is no Gantt view and few integrations outside Google. The free Lite plan is more of a taster, since reminders and mobile apps sit behind the paid tiers, and billing is yearly only.

Why we rate it

Tight Google Calendar and Gmail integration at a very low per-user price.

The catch

Google account required, annual billing only, and a limited free plan.

Best for
Google Workspace teams
Solo users who plan in Google Calendar
Small teams needing shared task lists
Not good for
Microsoft 365 or non-Google users
Teams needing Gantt charts
Buyers who want monthly billing
Friction report
Time to value
Fast: sign in with Google and start adding tasks in minutes.
Scale breakpoint
Each extra team member adds $4/mo billed annually; volume discounts from 5 licenses.
Walled garden
High: sign-in and most integrations depend on Google; export and backup files are available.
