What it really is

A web and mobile invoicing app with a small free tier and three low-cost paid plans.

Our take

invoicely is easy to start with and covers the basics plus a few extras, like mileage tracking and several business units under one login. The Free plan is more of a trial than a working tier: 5 invoices and 3 saved clients a month, PayPal only. Paid plans are cheap, but Basic and Professional still cap invoices per month. If you only need free invoicing, Wave gives more away; if you want invoicely's simplicity with cards and recurring billing, Basic is fairly priced.

Why we rate it

Simple invoicing with multi-currency support, mileage tracking and multiple business units at a low monthly price.

The catch

Tight free plan, per-month invoice caps on Basic and Professional, and no named software integrations.

Best for
Freelancers sending under 5 invoices a month
Small service businesses with a few regular clients
Owners running more than one small business
Not good for
Businesses that need full bookkeeping
Anyone wanting unlimited free invoicing
Teams that rely on accounting or CRM integrations
Friction report
Time to value
Minutes: sign up without a card and send a first invoice.
Scale breakpoint
A 6th invoice in a month or a 4th saved client pushes you to Basic; over 100 invoices a month needs Professional.
Walled garden
Medium: PDF invoices and reports, but no named integrations or API listed on the features page.
