What it really is
A Kanban, Gantt and time-tracking app that runs alongside Google Workspace, with a Microsoft 365 version.
Our take
Kanbanchi does one thing well: it keeps project boards where Google Workspace teams already work. Boards live in Drive, sign-in uses Google accounts, and Calendar and Gmail tie in. The pricing needs a careful read. Essential and Premium are cheap, but Gantt charts and the time tracker require Professional, which costs several times more. If you only need boards, the lower plans or Trello may be enough.
Why we rate it
Tight Google Workspace integration plus Gantt and time tracking in one tool, backed by security certifications.
The catch
Gantt and time tracking require the pricier Professional plan, and the free account caps at 36 cards.
Best for
Google Workspace teams
Schools and non-profits on annual plans
Teams that need boards plus time tracking
Not good for
Teams outside Google and Microsoft
Larger teams wanting a free plan
Buyers wanting Gantt on a small budget
Friction report
Time to value
Minutes: sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and start a board.
Scale breakpoint
When a team needs Gantt or time tracking, moving to Professional raises the per-user price sharply.
Walled garden
Medium: built around Google Workspace; CSV and Google Sheets export on Premium and above.
