TurboScribe: an audio and video transcription service powered by OpenAI's Whisper models.
TurboScribe is a file-based transcription tool: upload a recording (or a YouTube link) and pick one of three modes, from Cheetah (fastest) to Whale (most accurate, Whisper large-v2). The paid plan is unlimited for one person, with files of up to 10 hours, which makes pricing simple for heavy users. It does not join live meetings and has no API.
A flat $10 a month (billed yearly) for unlimited transcription removes per-minute pricing, and the free plan is usable at 3 files a day. Translation to 134+ languages and bulk exports come with the paid plan.
No real-time or live-meeting transcription — it's upload-only. Zero native integrations with Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. Speaker identification degrades with crosstalk, and there's no HIPAA compliance for healthcare workflows.
