What it really is
An inbox add-on for Gmail and Outlook that tracks sales emails and runs small outreach campaigns.
Our take
Yesware is at its best as an email tracker that lives where reps already work. Pro at $19 a month gives unlimited open, link and attachment tracking, which is the main reason most people install it. Campaign volume is where it gets tight: 10 recipients a month on Free and 20 on Pro, so real sequencing starts at Premium. Salesforce shops will want Enterprise for two-way sync. The product has been under Vendasta since 2022, and pricing is still sold directly on yesware.com.
Why we rate it
Inbox-native tracking, a usable free tier and low-cost Pro tracking, with Salesforce sync available.
The catch
Campaign caps on Free and Pro are tiny, and Salesforce sync costs $85 per user monthly.
Best for
Reps who want email tracking in Gmail or Outlook
Small teams sharing templates and reports
Salesforce teams wanting inbox-to-CRM sync
Not good for
High-volume cold email from many mailboxes
Teams wanting large sequences on a low budget
Email clients other than Gmail and Outlook
Friction report
Time to value
Yesware claims setup in about 60 seconds through the Gmail extension or Outlook add-in.
Scale breakpoint
Sending campaigns to more than 20 recipients a month requires Premium; Salesforce sync requires Enterprise.
Walled garden
Low to medium: Salesforce sync and integrations move activity out; templates and campaigns live in Yesware.
