What it really isFund accounting software for nonprofits and churches from Aplos Software, LLC, with donation tracking and online giving, and Keela and Raisely as sister products in the Velora suite.
Our takeAplos is clear about its two self-serve plans, $79 and $129 a month, and about being built around funds.
The final bill is less simple: extra users and contacts, payment fees and add-ons such as Bill Approval are priced separately, Advanced and Custom are quoted, and the terms say Aplos is not required to refund fees.
Why we rate itPlan prices, trial, support hours and fees are published first-party, but the pricing page does not say whether $79 and $129 are monthly or annual billing rates and several costs sit in the help center and terms.
The catchAplos's terms say it is not required to refund fees, the term renews unless notice is given 30 or more days before expiry, and the 50% three-month offer ends 30 November.

  1. Time to value
A 15-day free trial needs no credit card; Aplos also lists implementation services for moving data from another tool.
  2. Scale breakpoint
Lite and Core include 2 users, and the base subscription covers up to 500 contacts; each extra user adds $20 a month and each extra 1,000 contacts adds $20 a month.
  3. Walled garden
Bill Approval needs Core, and advanced budgeting, tag dimensions, allocations, fixed assets and ACH file export are add-on modules or higher-plan features.
