RentRedi

RentRedi is flat-price landlord software for rent collection, tenant screening, listings and accounting: $12 a month billed yearly, no free trial.

Our take: RentRedi sells one subscription whatever the unit count, which is its main argument against per-unit software.

RentRedi is landlord software from RentRedi, Inc. of Latham, New York that handles rent collection, tenant screening, listings, leases, accounting reports and maintenance requests in one subscription. It has no free plan or trial. The pricing page lists only paid terms: $12 a month billed annually, $20 a month billed every six months or $29.95 billed monthly. Each term has the same features and unlimited properties, and the page says the subscription is not a free trial. Tenants pay for screening ($39.99 or $49.99) and for rent payments ($1.00 by bank transfer, 3.1% + $0.30 by card) unless the landlord covers the fees.

The bottom line

A flat-rate option for self-managing landlords who accept paying upfront and confirm the refund terms first.

What it really isA flat-price landlord platform that bundles rent collection, tenant screening, listings, leases, accounting and maintenance requests.
Our takeRentRedi sells one subscription whatever the unit count, which is its main argument against per-unit software.
It asks for payment from day one, passes screening and payment fees to tenants by default, and its own pages differ on whether a refund is guaranteed.
Why we rate itThe price does not rise with unit count, every term includes the full feature set, and RentRedi publishes its tenant fees and screening costs in its help center and pricing page.
The catchNo free plan or trial.
The 30-day money-back guarantee on the pricing page is not mentioned in the Terms of Use, which call charges before cancellation non-refundable. The $12 price requires annual billing.

Best / not good for

Best for
  • Landlords managing their own rentals who want a single flat price
  • Owners who want rent, screening, listings and accounting in one subscription
  • Spanish-speaking tenants and landlords, since the app and tenant support are offered in Spanish
Not good for
  • Landlords who want a free plan or a free trial before paying
  • Owners who want to hand day-to-day management to a property manager, since RentRedi is software, not a management company
Trade-offs

Friction report

Trade-offs to know before signing up.

  1. Time to value
Setup means adding properties, connecting a bank account and inviting tenants; RentRedi says guided onboarding takes minutes.
  2. Scale breakpoint
No price step with unit count; Zillow listings and partner maintenance coordination cost extra as you use them.
  3. Walled garden
Subscriptions can only be changed or cancelled on the web dashboard, not in the mobile app.

Where RentRedi's own pages disagree

Free or paid: the home page title tag reads 'Free to Start', while the pricing page says the subscription is not a free trial and is charged when you sign up.

Refunds: the pricing page promises a full refund within 30 days. The Terms of Use (dated 06/12/2026, which reads as 12 June 2026 in US date order) do not mention that guarantee and say any charges incurred prior to cancellation are non-refundable. The help articles on managing and cancelling a subscription do not mention refunds either. Ask support to confirm in writing which applies.

Smaller mismatches: the pricing page's structured data lists the monthly price as $29 against $29.95 on screen, and RentRedi's user counts differ by page (100K+ landlords on the pricing page, nearly 200,000 landlords and renters on About, 300,000+ on the home page). Conversion Gems uses none of the counts.
